Tik Taco is a Mexican Cantina serving high quality restaurant standard food in Southport.
During the last twenty years, owner and Head Chef Anthony Greenland has worked as a Chef in the UK and around the world. Anthony has now settled in his home town and decided it was time to share his talent, skills and experience, whilst bringing a new dining concept to the seaside town of Southport.
Having launched a Mexican Pop Up in January, and a Take away in March 21, Tik Taco the restaurant launched in November 21, a 36 cover restaurant.
The food at Tik Taco is prepared with care, using only the finest, local ingredients, and with great precision, so that diners can eat with anticipation and confidence.

A talented, creative, and dedicated chef with over 20 years’ experience in the hospitality industry.
With a passion for the culinary arts, Anthony Greenland has been making waves in the culinary world for over two decades. It started when he showcased his exceptional talents and won the title of Young Merseyside Chef of the year.
Since then, Anthony has honed his skills through diverse experiences, including working alongside renowned Chef Mark Verite and exploring the international culinary scene.
Anthony employs a passionate work ethic, and hands on approach in the kitchen. The cuisines that feature in his repertoire are Modern European, Asian Influence and Mexican.
NOTABLE ACHIEVEMENTS
Anthony is proud to have worked as a Chef for a restaurant, voted as one of 50 best restaurants in the country, by The Independent and also listed in many major food guides such as Michelin Guide, AA Good Food Guide and Hardens Listing. The restaurant received two AA Rosettes and a Bib Gourmand.
Tik Taco has been a finalist for a Liverpool City Region Tourist Award in the Hidden Gem category, two years running.

The Tik Taco Family
Emma, Anthony’s wife, works beside him at the restaurant, along with Joe, Anthony’s dad and Carol, Emma’s mum.
Emma and Anthonys son, Max, helps in the kitchen at weekends, at home he can be found trialling new recipes created by his dad. Although Max’s dream is not to be a chef but a racing car driver. The family encourage Max to simply be and do whatever it takes to realise his dreams.
Community cohesion is super important in the restaurant and together the Greenland family aim to extend their family traditions to all those that work with them, dine in the restaurant or order food to eat at home. Anthony is a keen supporter of local businesses and understands that the town of Southport needs to stick together, and support each other.
